Karen’s classes are fantastic and really helped my post birth recovery. Highly recommend! I wish I was back in Nairobi as it’s hard to find classes that focus on your pelvic floor, important not just in the immediate postnatal period!
Karen is a great trainer. I have done group and private sessions of post-natal restorative exercises. I liked that she tailored the class to my needs or would be attentive to individual needs during group sessions. She is very passionate & authentic; a nice person to interact with whilst getting back into the exercise routine after birth.
Karen has been an amazing instructor. She assisted me with the post natal program and motivated me throughout. You could see results within 2 sessions of the program. She is very patient and passionate about what she does which makes you determined in attending the sessions.
I did HIIT classes over 6 months and it was amazing to help me get myself back to a level of fitness and health that I needed. Karen is a great coach, I loved that the sessions were short and intense, but had an incredible impact on my overall fitness and wellbeing. In addition she is very good about adjusting postures for any pre-existing conditions and gives good advice about nutrition and what exercise to do at home.
I did classes with Karen prenatally as well as postpartum and I have to say she is brilliant! It was nice to feel fit and active whilst pregnant but what I loved the most is how quickly I felt my core and my abdominal muscles gain strength again, and that’s after having had 3 pregnancies! She also taught me how to check my diastasis which I was encouraged to do weekly to ensure the separation was decreasing over time, and it did pretty quickly too. Karen’s classes are fast paced, fun and tailored to specific needs. I would definitely recommend her!

I have been to all 3 of Karen’s classes, starting with gentle rebuilding of the core in her post natal class, moving on to more strenuous strengthening and toning exercises in her Body Blitz class and then into high intensity interval training for cardio and strength building. They are all super fun, and Karen is very skilled at ensuring your form is correct to prevent injury and maximize benefits. Her gym is also really well equipped. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and friendly trainer to help you improve your fitness, especially after having kids, then I’d highly recommend Karen.
